Rowan Funeral Services is owned and operated by Jim and Loretta Hargrave, offering a full, multicultural service which is relevant and compassionate  according to your family’s faith.  That is what you will receive when you make funeral plans with Rowan Funeral Services.

Pre-Planning
For peace of mind and to lessen responsibility for family members, individuals are encouraged to  pre-plan for the inevitable.  We provide a variety of plans so that each person can select their personal desires..  The types of plans available are provided below.

  • preplanning - selecting the type of service you want.  Preplanning may or may not include selecting merchandise.
  • prepaying - establishing a payment plan to pay ahead of time for services that will take place when you die.
  • preplanning and prepaying - selecting services and paying for them ahead of time

    We encourage families to make an appointment with a funeral director for a free consultation regarding preplaning.  

Our funeral directors are available to discuss your individual family’s arrangements for your loved one.  Our staff is prepared to respond to the initial request for services; 24 hours a day, seven days a week to:

    ·   Arrange a conference with family or responsible party
    ·   Make arrangements for the funeral
    ·   Prepare and file necessary authorizations, forms and permits
    ·   Record final statistics
    ·   Prepare and place obituaries in respective newspapers
    ·   Assist families prior to, during and following the funeral
    ·   Prepare the body
    ·   Embalm teh body
